Adventure & Lifestyle Photography - Gabriel LaMarca

There’s no such thing as right or wrong when it comes to storytelling, especially with a camera. We all tend to think someone creating art or whatever you want to call it is bound by a particular style. Every individual has the capability of reaching out to the clouds for ideas. They’re all around us, yet someone gets to it first, even after we thought of it. I gravitate towards those fleeting thoughts, dreams, ideas, and gifts. There’s no need to pigeon-hole ourselves to an unending search for our look or style. I trust in my ideas as they come to me.

The world is ever changing, and we must keep adapting to it to survive. In my eyes, my photography is continuously growing and developing with creativity.

My Photography Approach

Every photograph tells a story — not just of what’s seen, but of what’s felt. My approach to photography is rooted in storytelling, capturing the quiet details and honest moments that define who we are and where we’ve been. I aim to create images that speak with emotion and authenticity. Through light, texture, and place, I strive to turn fleeting moments into lasting visual narratives.

Storytelling Through the Camera

I am located just outside of where the Buffalo Bills play in a small village. I work with many different people, businesses, and companies looking to create imagery and share their story. About Me

Hello,

My name is Gabriel LaMarca, and I am a photographer based out of Buffalo, NY and the surrounding areas. I provide adventure and branding photography services to individuals and businesses in Western New York and beyond!

I picked up the camera back in 2015 while traveling in Prague, CZ. At the time, I was taking a semester off to study abroad in Europe. I brought my Nikon camera over and discovered how much I loved documenting my travels through the camera lens. Since then, I haven’t put the camera down. I’ve explored and practiced many different forms of photography throughout the past 8 years, and I learned that every photo I shot, there was always a story behind it. I love sharing other people’s adventures and stories, which has allowed me to integrate those themes into my photography work.

Photography is an art form that is sometimes misunderstood as we tend to think of it as a simple “yearbook” shoot back when we were in school. My process is much different. I find photography to my creative therapy, and when working with me, there is no one man show. There is a creative process that takes place in every single photoshoot between the client and myself. Not every person enjoys having their photo taken, which is why it is important to make sure that each person is at ease during the photoshoot experience.

In my spare time, I enjoy camping, hiking, cooking, and playing guitar.
